Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. Until recently, people believed that a wedding co-ordinator was a service for the wealthy only. Not so – our team of professionals can save the bride and groom a lot of time and money, as we have endless experience in the bridal industry. IWA Wedding Co-ordinators provide the following services:

The first consultation with the wedding couple is for a full briefing to establish their needs and budget. During this meeting, they are also given a list of what is needed and expected of them.

We then supply a full plan, time schedule, theme/colour recommendations and quotations according to the needs of the various parties. We also ensure that the wedding couple fully understand the broad spectrum of the event.

We deal directly with all suppliers to ensure that all needs are dealt with properly and professionally, and that all aspects are covered fully.

We will source, together with the bride and groom, and book the venue decided upon, and in doing so, discuss and recommend menu’s and wine and beverage lists according to the budget.

The wedding couple will have regular consultations with the Co-ordinator, who will inform them on the progress of all aspects in the planning of the event.

Samples of each item they decide upon is provided for their final approval. All of these samples from suppliers are signed off by the couple.

Design and printing of all stationery that is required can be provided – Invitations, Thank You Cards, Menu’s, Table Seating as well as the Mailing List. We will also assist with the wording for all printed items.

Wedding gift listings will be arranged from the store of their choice to be included with the wedding invitations.

We arrange for the wedding photographer, which the bride and groom can choose from our many suppliers. We book this service and pay the required deposit.

If a DJ, Band or any other Live Entertainment is required, we will source the correct person(s), according to their music/entertainment requirements for the event. The couple will have the opportunity to experience their expertise by either being invited to a venue where they are performing at, or a personal meeting.

We can also recommend Ministers/Priests should this be required.

We supply all documentation needed for a legal wedding.

Gifts for guests on day of wedding – normally to be placed on the tables, can also be provided. Samples are made available to choose from.

We can recommend designers for the various wedding outfits.

We have our own professional team that supply the wedding cake.

IWA supplies all flowers and does the arrangements in the church/chapel, at the venue, etc.

We will ensure that all suppliers, including the venue, gets paid on time .

On the day of the wedding, we will be present to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Tables are properly laid, table numbers are in place, gifts are on the tables, flowers and table decorations are correct, the food is served on time, the master of ceremonies is properly briefed, a special safe place is set aside for the wedding gifts, etc. The list is endless!!!!

We will guide the bride on arrival, and make sure that all guests are seated, that the minister/priest and music is ready

We normally attend the wedding until all the formalities are over and the party starts and we are convinced that nothing can go wrong. Then all can proceed on enjoying the wedding party.

We will assist in booking the honeymoon night. If not at the venue itself, we will source the ideal honeymoon night venue.

The honeymoon night is also one of our specialties, when we include all kinds of extras in the honeymoon suite as a surprise and to say thank you for affording us the opportunity to plan one of the most unforgettable days of your lives

Last but not least – we can plan your magical honeymoon, in or out of South Africa. We have various destinations to choose from, including an Island Honeymoon - something you will never forget!
